The Château d'Usson: an architectural jewel!
The Château d’Usson was built in 1536. The architect was probably Jean de l’Espine, but even that remains rather a mystery! However, we do know that the Château was built at the time of the Italian Renaissance and its lavish sculptures are the work of Nicolas Bachelier, a famous pupil of Michelangelo.
