Parc des jardins du Monde (Gardens of the World Park) - Charente Maritime

A life-size adventure for all the family!

La Serre Tropicale aux Orchidées (Tropical Orchid Greenhouse):

Unique in France, a permanent exhibition of the most beautiful specimens of exotic orchids at the heart of a tropical forest of 700m2.

Pavillon des Bonsaï (Bonsai Hall):

A collection of tropical or subtropical bonsai trees, some centenarian, in a deliberately refined, Zen decor.

Le Jardin Japonais (The Japanese Garden):

Immerse yourself in the country of meditation and serenity with the Zen garden, the domesticated Japanese carp pool, hill islands, the cloud trees…

La Naissance de la Forêt Inondée (Birth of the Flooded Forest):

By the embankment or the waterside path, discover this nascent forest, characteristic of American marsh landscapes.

Le Labyrinthe des Brumes (Labyrinth of Fog):

A lost labyrinth of bamboo in the middle of a mysterious fog. Strange encounters await the children (July-August)

La Maison du Marais (The House of the Marsh):

This educational shelter reveals the secrets of the wildlife and the flora of one of the last urban marshes on the Atlantic coast.

Le Paysage de Toscane (Tuscany Landscape):

Admire this living painting, evocation of this region of Italy with its hundred-year-old olive trees, lavender, oil jars…

Le Pavillon des Enfants (Children’s Pavillion)

This play area contains the secret of the golden orchid that young adventurers have to find during a treasure hunt throughout the park. Prizes to be won.

Boat trips

Board a 5-seater electric boat that you pilot yourself
(+ 16 years), and set off on a 30-minute trip over the water, to discover the marsh of Pousseau by taking the maintained canals. You will maybe be lucky enough to spot a few of the inhabitants (egrets, herons…).
A trip that complements the park visit. For all the family.
