| The département of Charente-Maritime offers everything necessary for the development of business tourism. There are a total of four conference centres in Charente-Maritime: in La Rochelle, Rochefort, Royan and Saintes. |

 Conference Sites in La Rochelle - Espace Encan
|
|
La Rochelle has two complementary sites, the Espace Encan and the Forum des Perthuis. They are owned by the town of La Rochelle and management of these centres is entrusted by the town to the SAEM Espaces Congrès de La Rochelle.
The Espace Encan is the former fish market hall located on the edge of the Bassin des Grands Yachts (Large Yacht Basin), and is right in the town centre just a 5 minute walk from the TGV station. Recently completely renovated and refurbished, this conference centre provides high-performance facilities since 2004. The Espace Encan can host all types of events from 20 to 200 people with more than 10,000 m2 of adjustable space. It comprises: 2 exhibition halls of 500 and 800m2, a large adjustable hall of 3000m2 opening onto the basin and the towers of La Rochelle, 9 fully-equipped committee rooms and an 800-seat auditorium.

Conference Sites in La Rochelle - Forum des Pertuis |
| Forum des Perthuis. In the heart of the Les Minimes marina, the Forum des Perthuis enjoys a sea view and can host all events from 150 to 500 people over 2000 m2 of space.
It is comprised of an adjustable entrance and exhibition hall of 350 to 560m2, 8 equipped committee rooms, a dining room with sea view and a 450-seat amphitheatre.

Centre de Congrès de Royan (Royan Conference Centre) |
| Ideally located on the sea front, the conference centre of Royan is owned by the town and is managed by the Office Municipal du Tourisme. It is a facility of 2000m2, with a capacity of 50-2000 people.
It comprises a ‘salle plénière’ (plenary hall) for 450, another room for 120, 6 committee rooms for 50 people and 3 lounges, with a capacity ranging from 200 to 400, depending on the layout of the room. There are also a gallery, a cocktail bar, and reception rooms for 50 to 150 people each.

Centre de Congrès de Rochefort (Rochefort Conference Centre) |
In the town centre, the Palais des Congrès of Rochefort is managed by the town itself. It has a capacity of 1000 people and comprises an auditorium for 224 people equipped for conferences, 2 rooms with a capacity of 180 - 400 people and 7 small committee rooms of 20 - 50 people.

Saintes - Vegas |
Saintes has the Vegas complex, located just on the edges of the town and comprising 3 restaurants, a large room that can be changed into 3 lounges seating 450 designed for weddings, banquets cocktail parties as well as meetings and seminars. There are also 5 nightclubs.
