Cognac Ecomuseum

The Ecomusée du Cognac invites you to discover the secrets of this eau-de-vie, heir to an ancestral savoir-faire, synonymous with the human adventure and a certain art of living. The museum, in the heart of a family-run exploitation founded in 1850, is open from 1st June to 30th September.

The Musée du vigneron charentais (Museum of Charentes Vintners)

Passing through 5 rooms, discover the reconstructed Cognac arts and traditions of a 19th century vintner: habitat, vine culture, cooperage, wine cellars and old posters and labels.

An audiovisual show entitled ‘Le Cognac, 2000 ans d’art et d’histoire’ (Cognac: 2,000 years of art and history), as well as a sensorial circuit that take you on a journey through the aroma of Pineau and Cognac: fruity, spicy, woody complete the visit. There is also a tasting and sales area.

Cognac and Cigars

A permanent exhibition entitled ‘La route du Havane’ (The Havana Road) presents the adventure of the famous Cuban cigar in parallel with the world of Cognac, and evokes the secrets of this alliance of flavours.
