the forest

The forest of Midi Atlantique
Charente-Maritime counts a large number of forest massifs. Three forests in particular, the forests of La Coubre, Saint-Trojan and Benon, stand out because of their size and also because of their particularities. Above all else, they enjoy a strict protection mainly ensured by the officers of the Office Nationale de la Forêt (ONF, National Forestry Office).
