In the waters off the Charente-Maritime, around the islands (A100), in the Breton or Antioche sounds, sea bass, sea bream, skate, conger, mackerel, dogfish, meagre and other fish are waiting to be caught. You can fish from any sort of boat, either anchored or at drift. |

Regulations
|
The most important regulation for sea fishing, other than the navigation rules, relate to the minimum size of the marine species you may catch. For example: 36cm for sea bass, 24cm for sole, 20cm for mullet, 45cm for meagre, 23cm for sea bream, 4cm for clam and scallop, or 3cm for shrimp. |
